Coulomb radius
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-002624
The characteristic distance at which the Coulombic interaction energy between two charged species, such as an electron and a hole, becomes comparable to the thermal energy. This radius defines the effective range over which electrostatic forces significantly influence charge carrier separation and recombination. It is inversely proportional to the dielectric constant of the material.
