Interaction distance
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-005922
The separation between two particles or entities at which a measurable interaction, such as a collision or a chemical reaction, occurs. This distance is often considered in the context of molecular dynamics or scattering experiments. It provides a measure of the effective range over which forces or energy transfers are relevant.
