City-block distance
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-002093
A metric used in chemometrics and other fields to quantify the distance between two points in a multidimensional space. It is calculated as the sum of the absolute differences of their coordinates along each dimension. This distance is also known as Manhattan distance or L1 distance.
