Two-dimensional chromatography
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-012373
A chromatographic technique that separates components of a mixture by subjecting them to two different separation mechanisms in successive steps. The effluent from the first separation is transferred to a second column or plate, where further separation occurs based on a different property. This approach significantly increases peak capacity and resolution compared to one-dimensional methods.
