Pore size distribution
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009279
A description of the relative amounts of pores within a material as a function of their diameter or characteristic dimension. This distribution provides insight into the internal structure and connectivity of porous materials. It is typically determined using techniques such as mercury porosimetry or gas adsorption isotherms, which measure the volume of pores at different sizes.
