Specific pore volume
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-011110
The total volume of pores within a material per unit mass of that material. It provides an indication of the internal void space available for adsorption, catalysis, or fluid flow. This property is commonly determined by gas adsorption techniques and is expressed in units of cm³ g⁻¹.
