Solid volume
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-010995
The physical space occupied by the solid components within a porous material or a chromatographic column. It represents the volume of the stationary phase particles themselves, excluding any interstitial or pore volumes. This parameter is a key characteristic in determining the packing density and flow properties of a column.
