Particle size distribution

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-013376

A statistical representation of the range of particle sizes present in a given sample and their relative proportions. This distribution is a fundamental property of aerosols, powders, and suspensions, influencing their physical and chemical properties. It is often represented graphically as a histogram or cumulative curve.
