Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-000311

A colloidal system consisting of fine solid particles or liquid droplets dispersed in a gas. The particles or droplets are typically small enough to remain suspended for extended periods due to Brownian motion and gravitational settling. Examples include fog, smoke, and atmospheric haze, with particle sizes ranging from nanometers to tens of micrometers.
