Aerosol hydrolysis
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-000312
A process involving the chemical reaction of aerosolized precursors with water, leading to the formation of solid particles. This method is used for synthesizing fine powders and coatings, where the hydrolysis occurs within droplets suspended in a gas phase. The particle size and morphology can be controlled by adjusting reaction conditions such as temperature and precursor concentration.
