Polymer dispersion
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009169
A heterogeneous system consisting of polymer particles distributed throughout a continuous liquid phase. The polymer particles are insoluble in the continuous phase and are stabilized to prevent settling or aggregation. These systems are commonly produced via emulsion, suspension, or dispersion polymerization, with particle sizes ranging from nanometers to micrometers.
