Dispersion polycondensation
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-003307
A polymerization process where monomers react via a condensation mechanism in a dispersed system, forming polymer particles that are insoluble in the continuous phase. The polymer precipitates as it forms, creating a stable dispersion. This technique is employed for synthesizing polymers such as polyesters or polyamides in a dispersed state.
