Particle number concentration
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-008507
The number of individual particles present per unit volume of a dispersed system. This quantity is a fundamental characteristic of colloidal dispersions and aerosols, providing insight into the density of the particulate phase. It is typically expressed in units such as particles per cubic centimeter or per liter.
