Particle scattering function

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-008508

A mathematical function that describes the angular dependence of scattered radiation intensity from a single particle. It provides information about the size, shape, and internal structure of the particle. This function is a key component in light scattering, X-ray scattering, and neutron scattering experiments for characterizing polymers and colloids.
