Neutron density

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-013332

The number of neutrons per unit volume within a given material or region. This parameter is a measure of the concentration of neutrons and is particularly relevant in nuclear reactors and in neutron activation analysis. It is expressed in units of neutrons per cubic centimeter (n/cm³).
