Paucidisperse system

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-008552

A colloidal system characterized by a small, discrete number of distinct particle sizes or size ranges. Unlike polydisperse systems with a continuous distribution, paucidisperse systems exhibit a few well-defined particle populations. This characteristic is often observed in controlled synthesis processes that yield a limited set of particle dimensions.
