Polydisperse medium

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009131

A system containing particles or molecules that exhibit a range of sizes, molecular weights, or other physical properties, rather than being uniform. This heterogeneity means that the individual components do not all have identical characteristics. Such systems are common in polymer solutions and colloidal dispersions, where particle sizes can vary significantly.
