Uniform dispersion

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-012429

A dispersion whose particles are all identical in size, shape and constitution, so the dispersed phase is monodisperse rather than spread over a range of diameters. The term concerns the identity of the particles, not their spacing in the medium, and a latex of identical spheres is the usual example.
