Uniform polymer
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-012430
A polymer composed of molecules that are identical in terms of their constitution, configuration, and degree of polymerization. This means all polymer chains have the same number and type of monomer units arranged in the same sequence and stereochemical configuration. Such polymers are also known as monodisperse polymers, though true monodispersity is rarely achieved in synthetic polymers.
