Uniformly labelled
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-012431
Describing a chemical compound in which a specific isotope is distributed statistically evenly among all equivalent positions within the molecule. This means that every atom of a particular element in the molecule has an equal probability of being the labeled isotope. For example, uniformly labeled glucose-13C would have carbon-13 distributed throughout all six carbon positions.
