Monodisperse medium
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-007544
A colloidal system or other particulate material in which the dispersed particles are of uniform size, shape, and mass. This uniformity contrasts with a polydisperse system, where the particles exhibit a distribution of sizes. The term is synonymous with uniform, and such systems are often prepared synthetically for research in materials science and colloid chemistry.
