Particle-diameter dispersity

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-008510

A measure of the breadth of the distribution of particle diameters within a dispersed system. It quantifies the heterogeneity in particle sizes, indicating how uniform the particles are. A low dispersity value signifies a narrow distribution, while a high value indicates a broad range of particle sizes.
