Particle-embedded glass fibre disc

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-008511

A filtration medium consisting of glass fibers with finely divided sorbent particles uniformly dispersed and immobilized within the matrix. This composite material combines the filtration properties of glass fibers with the selective retention capabilities of the embedded sorbent. It is often used in solid-phase extraction for sample preparation.
