Mixed-mode sorbent
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-007430
A sorbent material that possesses two or more distinct retention mechanisms, such as both reversed-phase and ion-exchange properties. This combination allows for the separation of analytes based on multiple chemical interactions. Mixed-mode sorbents are often used in solid-phase extraction to achieve selective isolation of target compounds.
