Polymer sorbent

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009189

A polymeric material designed to take up other substances, either by adsorption onto its surface or by absorption into its bulk. These materials are often porous or have specific functional groups that interact with the target molecules. Polymer sorbents are widely used in separation science, environmental remediation, and purification processes.
