Magnetic nanoparticle sorbent
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-006908
A sorbent material composed of magnetic nanoparticles, often coated with a functionalized layer, used for the extraction and preconcentration of analytes from complex matrices. Its magnetic properties allow for easy separation from the sample solution using an external magnetic field, eliminating the need for centrifugation or filtration. These sorbents are widely applied in sample preparation for environmental, biological, and food analysis.
