Gel nanoparticle
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-004796
A discrete particle composed of a cross-linked polymer network swollen with a solvent, with dimensions in the nanometer range. These particles exhibit properties of both gels and nanoparticles, including high surface area and tunable swelling behavior. They find applications in targeted drug delivery, biosensing, and as components in advanced materials.
