Polymer nanoparticle
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009182
A polymer particle of any shape whose equivalent diameter lies between roughly 1 and 100 nanometres, so all three of its dimensions are at the nanoscale. Its small size and high surface-to-volume ratio give it properties that differ from those of the bulk polymer. It is distinguished from a polymer microparticle, which spans roughly 0.1 to 100 micrometres.
