Microparticle
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-013288
A particle measuring from 0.1 to 100 micrometres across, a range also written as 1E-7 to 1E-4 metres, so its size is normally quoted in micrometres. The lower limit that separates microparticles from nanoparticles is still debated. Particles near the top of the range sit at about the limit of what the unaided eye can resolve.
