Nanogel

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-013318

A crosslinked polymer network with dimensions in the nanometer range, typically between 10 and 200 nanometers. These soft, colloidal particles can swell in a good solvent and exhibit properties of both hydrogels and nanoparticles. Nanogels are frequently explored for drug delivery, imaging, and sensing applications due to their high surface area and tunable porosity.
