Polymer gel particle
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009175
A particle of a polymer gel that is discrete and non-aggregated, existing as part of a dispersed system. These particles are composed of a cross-linked polymer network swollen with a solvent, giving them both solid-like and liquid-like properties. Their size can range from nanometers (nanogels) to micrometers (microgels), influencing their application in drug delivery, sensors, and rheology modification.
