Polymer glass
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009176
A solid, amorphous polymer in a glassy state, characterized by a rigid structure where molecular motion is restricted to vibrational and short-range rotational movements. This state occurs below the glass transition temperature, where the material exhibits properties similar to a conventional glass. It is typically brittle and transparent.
