Gel fraction
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-004794
The mass fraction of a polymer sample that is insoluble in a given solvent due to the formation of a cross-linked network. This fraction represents the portion of the polymer that has undergone gelation. It is a measure of the extent of crosslinking in a polymer system.
