Profile of mood state test

A psychological assessment tool designed to measure transient mood states and changes in mood over time. It typically consists of a series of adjectives that respondents rate according to how well they describe their feelings during a specified period. The test yields scores across several mood dimensions, such as tension, depression, anger, vigor, fatigue, and confusion.
