Rebound headache

A chronic daily headache that develops or worsens due to the overuse of acute headache medications. This condition, also known as medication overuse headache, occurs when regular use of pain relievers leads to a cycle where the medication itself triggers more frequent and severe headaches. It is a common complication of treating primary headache disorders like migraine.
