Prodromal stage
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009499
The early phase of an illness in which vague or non-specific symptoms, such as fatigue, mood change, malaise or visual disturbance, appear before the characteristic signs of the full disease. It follows any symptom-free latent period and ends when the diagnostic features emerge. The prodrome of a migraine can start up to a day or two before the headache itself.
