Sensitivity of a measuring system

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-010745

The change in the output signal of a measuring system per unit change in the input quantity being measured. It quantifies how responsive the system is to variations in the analyte concentration or property. A higher sensitivity indicates a greater change in signal for a given change in the measured quantity, often expressed as the slope of the calibration curve.
