Supervised learning
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-011611
A type of machine learning where an algorithm learns from a labeled dataset, meaning each input data point is paired with a corresponding output label. The goal is for the algorithm to learn a mapping function from inputs to outputs, enabling it to make predictions on new, unseen data. Common applications include classification and regression tasks in drug discovery.
