Supervised classification

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-011610

A chemometric method for categorizing unknown samples into predefined classes based on a training set of samples with known classifications. The algorithm learns a model from the labeled data to predict the class membership of new, unlabeled data. This approach requires prior knowledge of the classes and their characteristics.
