Virtual chemical library
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-012587
A computational collection of chemical structures that do not physically exist but can be generated or enumerated based on defined chemical rules or reactions. These libraries are used in drug discovery to explore a vast chemical space for potential drug candidates. They can contain billions of hypothetical molecules.
