Combinatorial library

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-002269

A collection of molecules synthesized by combining a set of building blocks in all possible combinations. This approach generates a large number of compounds from a smaller set of starting materials. Such libraries are extensively used in drug discovery and materials science to screen for compounds with desired properties.
