Chemical library
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-001952
A collection of stored chemical compounds used in high-throughput screening to identify substances with desired biological activity. These libraries exist as physical collections of actual chemical samples or as virtual databases of structures for computational screening. The compounds within a library are selected to represent structural diversity or are focused around a particular chemical scaffold or biological target.
