Working interval

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-012722

The range of analyte concentrations or quantities over which an analytical method provides reliable and accurate results, encompassing both the limit of quantification and the upper limit of linearity. Within this interval, the relationship between the analytical signal and the analyte concentration is well-defined and predictable. Measurements outside this range may lead to inaccurate or imprecise determinations.
