Hub

A basic networking device that connects multiple Ethernet devices together, making them act as a single network segment. It operates at the physical layer of the OSI model, simply repeating incoming data packets to all connected ports. Hubs have largely been replaced by switches due to their inefficiency and lack of intelligence.
