NSP

A company that owns and operates the high-capacity backbone infrastructure of the internet, also called a Network Service Provider. These providers sell wholesale bandwidth to Internet Service Providers (ISPs), large corporations, and other entities that require direct connection to the internet core. NSPs manage the major traffic exchange points and long-haul fiber optic lines that form the primary routes for data traffic between different regions.
