PS/2

A standard for connecting keyboards and mice to a computer, introduced by IBM with its Personal System/2 series of computers. It uses a 6-pin mini-DIN connector, typically green for the mouse and purple for the keyboard. While largely superseded by USB, PS/2 ports are still found on some motherboards due to their direct hardware interrupt capabilities.
