Term · Environment · MLC-T-ENV-016680
1. The substance in which an analyte is embedded or contained; the properties of a matrix depend on its constituents and form.
2. The solid framework of rock or mineral grains that surrounds the pore spaces.
3. The material of which the sample is composed or the substrate containing the analyte of interest, such as waste water, storm water, and biosolids. Also called medium or media. {ORD} {OW/EAD} {OPP} {OW/TSC} {OAR/OAQPS} {OECA} {ORCR}
4. The material of which the sample is composed or the substrate containing the analyte of interest, such as waste water, storm water, and biosolids. Also called medium or media.
5. The type of media in which the analyte of interest is contained (e.g., waste water, storm water). [EPA 815-B-04-001]
6. The type of media in which the analyte of interest is contained (e.g., waste water, storm water).
