Artificial horizon

An aircraft instrument that displays the aircraft's attitude relative to the Earth's horizon. It provides pitch and roll information, allowing pilots to maintain spatial orientation, especially in conditions of poor visibility or at night. This gyroscopic instrument is a primary component of an aircraft's flight display system.
