Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-000345

A technique employed in electronic measurement devices to automatically correct for offset errors and drift in the instrument's output. It periodically measures the system's zero-input response and subtracts this value from subsequent readings. This process maintains measurement accuracy over time and across varying environmental conditions.
