Bus-holder
Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-000870
A circuit designed to maintain a stable logic level on an un-driven bus line, preventing it from floating to an indeterminate state. It typically uses weak pull-up or pull-down resistors to hold the line at a defined voltage when no active driver is present. This prevents spurious signals and reduces power consumption in digital systems.
